Internal Medicine

The Internal Medicine Residency Program offers a thoughtful training experience to prepare physicians for a successful career caring for adult patients in the hospital, clinic and other medical settings. An emphasis on prevention, diagnosis, treatment and comprehensive patient care create a solid foundation for new internists. With both hands-on experiences and an excellent didactic program, the program encompasses all areas of the internal medicine specialty.

Our Internal Medicine Residency Program is a three-year (36 month) osteopathic post-graduate program. The program is an AOA-approved residency with both DO and MD faculty physicians and is based at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, the largest tertiary care hospital within Samaritan Health Services. The continuity ambulatory care experience will be satisfied by attending the residency program internal medicine clinic.
